Profiles 2.0 Release Candidate 1 Now Available

Release Candidate 1 of the new version of Profiles is now out.

Unlike the beta versions, RC1 mostly works most of the time. In particular most boneheaded and stupid bugs are gone, and you no longer need to be a php genius to set the system up. In addition, a brand new advanced options page under the “Settings” menu allows you to turn off potentially unnecessary options (like watermarking).

Cruise over to the Profiles Homepage, or hit Profiles at wordpress.org for your copy.

Update: Something is hinky with the download at wordpress.org. The one on the Profiles Homepage, works fine.

µAudio 0.2.1 Released

If, like me, you have ever made a software release while thinking about aircraft, you’ll understand why a new version is needed.

Please forgive my wrongheadedness in testing the wrong version before the 0.2 release. This time, I’m pretty sure I’ve got it right.

Check out my µAudio page, or head over to µAudio at wordpress.org for a copy of your very own.

µAudio Version 0.2 Released

µAudio version 0.2 has been released. Updated jQuery selection should improve missed link transformation as well as eliminate k2 hacking (if k2 is your theme). New (packed) jQuery included as well.

If you need a tiny (only 560 Byte initial page load), simple, zero config, drop in and forget audio player, µAudio is for you.

Check out my µAudio page, or head over to µAudio at wordpress.org.

Since the weather promised to be comfortable in the central valley (as opposed the oppressive heat of high summer), I decided to lead an expedition to the legendary Castle Air Museum, at Castle Airport (KMER) (formerly Castle Air Force Base). In addition, I decided to use the low temperature — and attendant low density altitude — to take a flight over the beautiful Yosemite valley and the fabled Hetch Hetchy reservoir.
